Head of ESG Data & Analytics IT

Your new role 

As the Head of ESG Data & Analytics IT (Environmental, Social, and Governance), you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of IT design & development of data-driven solutions and initiatives that support company's ESG data & analytics objectives. You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and integration of data-related projects and systems in alignment with the organization's strategy.

Your responsibilities

• Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders 

• Develop and execute the IT delivery strategy for ESG data initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and priorities. 

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and solutions that will deliver ESG data outcomes 

• Drive the implementation of data platforms, systems, and tools to enable efficient collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data. 

• Oversee the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and processes to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Foster a customer-centric culture within the IT and DAO ESG delivery teams, promoting continuous improvement and a focus on delivering value to customers. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, ESG teams, and external partners, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment. 

• Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of ESG data and analytics IT implementation and costs to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Outstanding program delivery experience, which includes planning & communications capabilities, decision making and problem solving skills.

• Strong understanding of ESG concepts, frameworks and reporting requirements

• Extensive experience in leading dynamic teams and stakeholders, managing multiple, competing priorities and demands in a fast-evolving environment.

• Solid knowledge of business finance, portfolio management essentials and experience of effective management of budgets and expenditure

• Good knowledge on Data & Analytics application in Banking and Financial domains and industry trends

• Ability to build strong, long term relationships and communicate on complex Data Analytics issues with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.

• Good understanding of big data and cloud technology stack, data management principle and patterns

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior executive management.

Leadership & Teamwork

• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to develop and execute an effective IT delivery strategy for ESG data initiatives.

• Lead a vision to design and develop software to automate the building, testing and deployment of data & analytics solutions at scale

• Responsible for defining and cascading Data Engineering practice objectives

• Manage development activities, IT controls & processes, cost & schedule, risk & issues throughout the delivery life cycle

• Performance management and key decision of talent development
